Within the space of a single dial, traditional crafts combine to create compositions of great sophistication, in which each detail is testimony to the creativity and excellence of Van Cleef & Arpels.

A symbol of protection, slicing through the air with the same graceful flutter, the kite complements the Maison’s other faithful renditions of movement. These new dials are embellished by a festive ballet of kites, their bright colors evoking so many joyful moods.

For the first time, Van Cleef & Arpels has employed the technique of miniature painting on sculpted mother-of-pearl, with its blend of volume and dazzling nuance. To bring these aerial compositions to life, sculpted mother-of-pearl motifs stand out in relief against an iridescent background.
